This event is targeting pupils with statements (or working towards statements), disabilities, hearing or visual impairments or individual special needs.  Your son/daughter has been identified as someone who is either showing potential in PE and School Sport or who would benefit from such an experience.

Pupils will have the opportunity to try a range of sports including cricket, curling, basketball, seated volleyball and much more, all delivered by specialist coaches.

The event will take place on Thursday 18^th March 2010 at the Hugh Christie Technology College at 1.45 pm for a 2.00 pm start and finishing at 5.00 pm.

Your child will need to be accompanied by either yourself, a member of staff or a TA who can support them during the event.  Anyone attending the event will need to bring indoor and outdoor footwear as no outdoor shoes are permitted in the hall.  Please ensure your child brings plenty to drink (no fizzy drinks please).

If you would like your child to take part in this, please complete the attached form (in the resources area) and return it to Sarah Barrett at The Canterbury High School, Knight Avenue, Canterbury, Kent  CT2 8QA (email sbarrett@canterbury.kent.sch.uk  as soon as possible but by 11^th March at the latest.  Please note places are limited so will be given on a first come first served basis as they are received.
