With freezing cold temperatures, there was a good turn out for the Boys and Girls futsal tournament. The festival was held at the Victoria Rec Ground, right next to the Canterbury Academy and was run by Chris Wallis.

The tournament was aimed at those who have not started for their team, but they still displayed some great futsal. Both the Boys and Girls enjoyed the day and couldn't wait to play their next matches. Each team was helped and lead by a Yr 10/11 pupil from the Canterbury High School, who would take them to their next pitch, tell them their next game etc.

The matches themselves were refereed by the High School's very own 6th Form Girls Football Academy who ensured the games ran as smoothly and fairly as possible.

In the end, results were totalled and the winners of the Boys and winners of the Girl's tournament were both decided.

In the Girls' competition, 3rd place was Blean, 2nd was Barham and in 1st place was Sturry!!

In the Boys' competition, the winners were Sturry!!

CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE to every team for still coming out and taking part even though it was cold.
